The founders of PeoplesFinancials, Michael Heijmeijer, CEO of cfinancials.com, and Markus Ferber, MEP in charge of product risk for the European Union, announced yesterday the official launch of the PeoplesFinancials foundation. This foundation aims to swing the balance of power from the financial sector to the public by giving the latter the tools to understand and manage financial product risk. By providing the person in the street with free access to a unique product security database, which enables them to search and be notified of objective information on products and trends; and by informing them, continually via newsletter and regularly via in-depth educational conferences, the foundation intends to reveal all about the full universe of financial products.
